Here some of the events where our firm participated in 2015:
Annual Florida Bar Convention
On June, we were present at the Annual Florida Bar Convention held in Boca Raton. Martha Villalobos offered a lecture regarding Insurance Law within the NAFTA Symposium held at the convention.
HNBA Annual Convention
On the first week of September, we were present at the HNBA Annual Convention held in Boston, Massachusetts. The Hispanic National Bar Association (“HNBA”) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, national membership organization that represents the interests of Hispanic legal professionals in the United States and its territories.
MIHCA Annual Conference
On the second week of September we attended the 2015 Annual Conference of the Minority In-House Counsel Association (“MIHCA”) held in Chicago, Illinois. MIHCA is an association that promotes the professional development and career advancement of minority in-house counsel.
NAMWOLF Annual Meeting
On mid-September, we attended the Annual Meeting of The National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (“NAMWOLF”) in Los Angeles, California. NAMWOLF is a nonprofit trade association comprised of minority and women-owned law firms and other interested parties throughout the United States. NAMWOLF assists its Law Firm Members in developing strategic alliances, coalitions, and affiliations with corporations, in-house counsel, and other legal trade associations.
USMBA Annual Conference
As every year, on the first week of November we attended the Annual Conference of the US-Mexico Bar Association (“USMBA”) in Houston, Texas. The subject matter of this year was the energy reforms in Mexico. The USMBA is a unique, bi-national Bar Association made up of attorneys from both Mexico and the United States.
