On October 8, 2015, the Ministry of Tax and Public Credit published the new Regulations to the Mexican Income Tax Law in the Federal Official Gazette, which became effective as of the day following publication.

These new regulations eliminate provisions that were opposite to the current Mexican Income Tax Law in effect as of January 1, 2014, and it amends crossed references to be consistent with such Law.

As consequence of the above, the former regulations, published on October 17, 2001 were abrogated, as were derogated the administrative provisions, rules, consultations and general interpretations contained in official communications or published in the Federal Official Gazette regarding Income Tax, in as much as they contradict the new regulations.
